Art auctions in the Czech Republic<\/strong> are gaining momentum in 2026. After a weaker 2025, the market is showing renewed activity, with stronger sales and growing interest in mid-priced artworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Artplus<\/a>, traditional auctions generated CZK 766 million<\/strong> in the first half of 2026, over CZK 200 million more than a year earlier. A painting purchased for CZK 100,000 would therefore cost CZK 124,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, commission rates vary between auction houses.
