Nonostante ci\u00f2, la crescita delle esportazioni \u00e8 stata inferiore a quelle delle importazioni (+6,3%). According to preliminary data in current prices, in December 2017 the external trade balance in goods ended in a deficit of CZK 2.2 bn, which was by CZK 6.2 bn better result, year-on-year (y\u2212o\u2212y).\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The total balance\u00a0in the national concept<\/strong><\/b>1)<\/sup>, was favourably influenced mainly by an increment of surplus in\u00a0‘motor vehicles’ and ‘machinery and equipment’ by CZK 5.9 bn and CZK 2.5 bn respectively.<\/p>\n

A larger deficit of the trade balance in\u00a0‘basic metals’, ‘coke and refined petroleum products’ and ‘products of agriculture and hunting’ by\u00a0CZK\u00a01.6\u00a0bn, CZK\u00a01.0\u00a0bn and CZK 0.9 bn, respectively, affected primarily the total trade balance in\u00a0a\u00a0negative manner.<\/p>\n

In December\u00a02017 the trade balance with the EU28 Member States ended in a surplus of\u00a0CZK\u00a035.9\u00a0bn, and thus it was by CZK\u00a05.2\u00a0bn higher, y\u2212o\u2212y. The trade deficit with the non-EU countries shrank by\u00a0CZK\u00a00.8\u00a0bn to reach the amount of CZK\u00a036.4\u00a0bn.<\/p>\n

Compared to November\u00a02017 the seasonally adjusted exports and imports in the national concept rose by\u00a02.2% and 1.3% respectively. The development trend shows increasing exports and\u00a0(+0.4%) and stagnating imports.<\/p>\n

Compared to the same month of 2016,\u00a0exports and imports fell by 0.1% (to CZK\u00a0247.2\u00a0bn) and\u00a0by 2.5% (to\u00a0CZK\u00a0249.4 bn) respectively.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02017,<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0the trade balance surplus in the national concept reached CZK 152.6 bn which represented a decrease\u00a0by CZK 11.1 bn, y\u2212o\u2212y. Compared to the previous year, exports and imports went up by 5.6% and 6.3% respectively.<\/p>\n

Information on the cross-border movement of goods<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

According to preliminary data in current prices of\u00a0the cross-border concept2)<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>in December 2017 exports increased by 1.1% while imports fell by 0.1%. Total exports and imports of\u00a0goods amounted to a value of CZK\u00a0309.4\u00a0bn and CZK\u00a0287.0 bn, respectively.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02017\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>compared to 2016,<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0exports and imports in the cross-border concept grew by 5.7% and by\u00a07.9% respectively. The external trade turnover went up by CZK 503.4 bn to\u00a0CZK\u00a07\u00a0972.1\u00a0bn,\u00a0y\u2212o\u2212y.<\/p>\n

According to the Eurostat statistics, in November 2017 the Czech Republic shares in the total exports and imports of the European Union were 3.3% and 3.1%, respectively.<\/p>\n

1)<\/sup><\/em><\/i>\u00a0The\u00a0national concept of external trade\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>reflects export and import performance of the Czech economy, i.e.\u00a0the external trade balance of the Czech Republic as well. It measures real trade in goods carried out\u00a0between Czech and foreign entities, i.e. a change of ownership between residents and non-residents.<\/em><\/i><\/p>\n

2)<\/sup><\/em><\/i>\u00a0The\u00a0cross-border concept of external trade\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>reflects only physical movements of goods across the border regardless of whether the\u00a0trade between Czech and foreign entities occurs. These data\u00a0are\u00a0internationally comparable and can be used as indicators of development in the value of trade.<\/em><\/i><\/p>\n

Data for companies, that failed to\u00a0report data (non-response), have been imputed according to dispatches and\u00a0receptions these companies reported in the previous period. Data for\u00a0companies exempted from\u00a0the\u00a0reporting duty were estimated on\u00a0the basis of the data given in the VAT return forms. The data, which were not available from the VAT return forms, are\u00a0estimated on the basis of the values for previous periods.<\/em><\/i><\/p>\n

Data for 2016 are final and data for 2017 are preliminary.<\/em><\/i><\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n
