The two municipalities sign an important pact with the aim of developing cultural, artistic and other projects.
The objective of the friendship pact signed on February 22 by the municipalities of Pistoia and Prague 5, is to promote the exchange of experiences but above all to jointly develop projects of various kinds, from cultural to educational, clearly passing for those of an economic nature.
Collaboration and a mutual exchange of experiences related to the development of the two cities with particular reference to the tourism sector are foreseen, as well as the organization of a Street Art project.
In fact, on Tuesday morning, commissioner Sabella and Mauro Marsili, the Italian ambassador to Prague, met together with the director of the Italian cultural institute in Prague and the president of the Eleutheria Foundation to lay the foundations for this ambitious Street Art project, which it will represent a model of artistic requalification and social regeneration that unites the two cultures.
“With this further pact of friendship we are going to strengthen and develop some strategic sectors for our city, looking for forms of interaction – underlines Alessandro Sabella, councilor for tourism -. In this way, in addition to a global footprint, linked more properly to the promotion of the territory, we are going to provide young people with the opportunity to compare themselves, to grow artistically, so that they can broaden their cultural horizons and relate to new realities. On behalf of the Administration, I would like to thank Andrea Cosentino for his commitment to promoting the Street Art project and for having allowed the development of this ambitious pact ».
In the three days of institutional meetings, the commissioner Sabella had the opportunity several times to meet with the mayor and the deputy mayor of Prague 5 to begin setting up a speech on future scenarios and perspectives.
