In the Czech Republic, the state of emergency has been extended from 5 October to 20 November 2020. However, in the words of Deputy Prime Minister Jan Hamacek, the intention is to extend this state until the Christmas period, but with a progressive relaxation of the restrictive measures. The measures put in place by the government to support the enterprises are listed below:
1. TAX CONCESSION:
The Government has approved tax concessions for entrepreneurs and businesses, by waiving income tax and road tax advances, as well as interest on late payment of value added tax. The Ministry of Commerce has also announced that the deadline of VAT payment for the third quarter for retail entrepreneurs will be postponed by the end of the year.

2. FACILITIES FOR COMPENSATION OF EMPLOYEES:
Antivirus A and B program for employee compensation, aimed at:
- Companies subject to closure (antivirus A): reimbursement of 100% of salary.
- Companies indirectly affected, with a significant drop in sales (antivirus B): reimbursement of 60% of the salary.
- Care allowance for parents of children under 10 years of age.

3. FACILITIES FOR PAYING THE RENT OF COMMERCIAL PREMISES:
Program Covid Najemne II for the payment of the rent for commercial spaces:
- Coverage of 50% of the rent for the months of July, August and September (no need for discount by the landlord).

4. FACILITIES FOR SELF EMPLOYED PERSONS:
The Government has approved a compensation bonus for entrepreneurs and self-employed people, who have been affected by the measures against the pandemic. The bonus is equal to 500 crowns a day. Support is provided for those whose predominant income (over 50%) comes from the Živnostenský list. However, this measure has not been approved yet.
