Boom of applications for the Covid business recovery Plan

With the arrival of summer reopening begins, the future and post-Covid life are already planned. This is also the case in the productive sector, which seeks to recover the damage suffered during the pandemic through the business recovery plan issued by the Government.

Business Recovery Plan: call of application

This was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic: applications for 5.6 billion crowns were submitted for the call for applications for the period up to the end of March 2021. For a total of 4100 applications submitted. In addition, for the call for applications for the period April-May 2021, the current call has registered applications for 1.1 billion crowns. The amount of support shall be 60 % of the uncovered costs for the reference period and up to 40 % of the uncovered costs for entrepreneurs with State participation or an autonomous territorial unit of the Czech Republic. The amount of reimbursement shall be up to a maximum of CZK 15 million per applicant for the relevant period from 1 April to 30 April 2021, or CZK 25 million per applicant for the relevant period from 1 April to 31 May 2021.

Business Recovery Plan: conditions

The candidates eligible to apply are: entrepreneurs or natural or legal people who carry out commercial activities on the basis of Law No. 455/1991 Coll.. The application shall be submitted to the identification number of the entrepreneur, for the entire business. In addition, the entrepreneur must be able to demonstrate a decrease in revenues of at least 50% for eligible expenditure, and proven in accordance with the conditions laid down in the Notice.

Business Recovery Plan: the parallel program

In addition, MIT has decided to extend the period for which the grant will be disbursed in the first Call for the Programme until 9 May 2021. Again, support will be provided for the period from 11 January to 9 May 2021, i.e. for 119 days. For the latter Covid 2021 program, around 15000 applications were submitted for  6.8 billion crowns. The government has allocated 14 billion crowns for the two programs.
