Economic subsidies for enterprises
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has published a notice to compensate all entrepreneurs affected by the environmental disaster in Moravia a few days ago. The economic subsidies are part of a support program called Tornado Assistance and are open to all those who had to stop their activities because of the environmental disaster.
Tornado Assistance: funds for entrepreneurs
Some 200 million Czech crowns have been allocated to these economic subsidies to support businesses. The contributions are divided into different categories according to the amount and the purpose of the capital.
- Financial assistance for the renewal or purchase of a new property, which will replace the destroyed one, for a maximum amount of 1 million CZK
- One-time support of 50,000 CZK for cleaning work
- An interest-free loan from CZK 500,000 to CZK 45 million for capital expenditure.
The loans will be provided by the Czech-Moravian Development and Guarantee Bank (ČMZRB). Applications can be submitted from today, 30th June 2021 and until 30th September 2021, and must be submitted to contact points for entrepreneurs organized in the affected areas.
Economic subsidies: submission of applications
The subsidies are aimed mainly at those who had to stop their activities because of the tornado. With the funds, it will be possible to buy equipment and machinery, software, licenses, start construction works, buy transportation, carry out technical work, etc. Applications can be submitted from today, 30 June 2021, until 30 September 2021, and must be submitted to contact points for entrepreneurs in the affected areas.
