Ministry launches a search engine on business support programs

Everything is clear and in one place. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) has launched a portal to support businesses where entrepreneurs will find a search engine that will facilitate their orientation and subsequent choice of support, state or European, best suited to the specific situation of their business or project.

The portal

This is the first portal that brings together information on business support programs in one place. Specifically, on the portal, www.podporapodniku.cz entrepreneurs can search for support measures using four parameters

  • the age of the enterprise
  • the size of the enterprise
  • location of the project
  • 14 areas of support

The website provides a comprehensive list of programs financed by both European funds and national resources, organized by sectors such as digitization, energy, infrastructure, culture, or access to foreign markets. Each program has a short description containing requirements, eligible costs, specifications of the amount of support, and the direct contact of the provider with whom project plans can be consulted.

Síkela’s words

Jozef Síkela, Minister of Industry and Trade announced the portal as follows:

“There is currently a wide range of programs in the Czech Republic that help businesses through grants, loans, guarantees, capital inputs, or various non-financial measures. To enable entrepreneurs to easily find their way through the programs, we have prepared a clear search engine that comprehensively maps all options. In it, they will find a summary of support in a number of areas such as digitization, research and development, energy, human resources and education, infrastructure, access to foreign markets, and others.”
